Shan Fisher

I’m looking for images that excel in lighting, composition, and all the technical elements. But most importantly, I want to see images that have meaning, tell a powerful story, and create impact.

Over the last 17 years, Shan has grown a successful photography business from the ground up and established a brand. Her company has received many prestigious awards as an enterprise with excellence.

Today her expertise extends beyond the lens. She is also a passionate educator and speaker, dedicated to inspiring and empowering photographers, like you to pursue your dreams, master your craft, and build thriving businesses, centered around your passions, all while living life to its fullest potential.

Kathryn Barredo

When posing newborns I want to see correct finger placement on the infant, soft and correctly positioned fingers can make or break a newborn pose aesthetically speaking.

Proper lighting is crucial with newborns, avoiding ghoul lighting and the newborns head also needs to be tilted in the correct direction for specific poses such as the chin on hands and bucket pose. If head tilt is wrong direction the lighting will become Ghoul lighting.

Clean and tidy wrapping is also needed to achieve the perfect portrait, if the wrapping looks lose or sloppy it becomes distracting and takes away from the full potential of the portrait.

Kathryn has been a professional photographer specializing in newborn and maternity photography for 13 years. She has also created a teaching platform called MomTog Educate and has taught hundreds of other newborn photographers over the past 5 years to perfect their craft. She loves studio light and neutral tones.

Bianca Hubble

I am looking for focused image, appealing composition, and excellent lighting.

Bianca Hubble is a professional photographer. She has been shooting professionally since June of 2005 and specializing in newborn and maternity photography since June of 2011. Bianca has a B.S. degree in Youth Ministry from Toccoa Falls College. She often jokes that she is just working with the really really young “youth”. Bianca’s work has been recognized in Sew Trendy Accessories’ “Best of ….” Her work has been published in International Journal of Child Birth and Points North Magazine. She has spoken in newborn conferences, was an instructor with Online Newborn and Maternity Retreat hosted by the Milky Way for 4 years, and she is an international Mentor for Newborn photographers. Bianca has trained over 120 newborn photographers in person individually or in very small groups in just over a year’s time and has trained several thousand through online e-workshops. She is also the inventor of the Newborn Cloud posing system for newborn photographers sold world wide. And today is spending more time shooting Seniors and studio sports sessions. Bianca lives in Toccoa, Georgia.

With a competition judging I look for a feeling. An image that tells a story, no matter how simple. Good lighting and clean editing.

Hi there!!!! I am a professional newborn photographer in Guelph, ON, owner of Azure Photography. I mainly focus on newborns but also enjoy photographing maternity, sitters and cake smash sessions! I have been photographing newborns since January of 2014 and I absolutely LOVE it!! I have had a camera in my hand since I was 18 years old! I learned how to shoot film and worked at Black’s Photography through highschool and into University. My inspiration for starting my own business in photography was my little one. I wanted her to always know that taking a chance on something you love is worth it, no matter how it works out. I wanted to show her how to have confidence and follow her heart through life. I love this “job” and look forward to building many more relationships with my wonderful clients over the coming years.
