I am Romina, the mother of Giulia and Leonardo.
When I got pregnant with Leonardo I realized that I had no memory of the first pregnancy. At that time, in fact, I didn’t really love my belly and the shapes of my body, so there are only a few “stolen” and mediocre quality photos that portray me with a baby bump.
In hindsight, I am very sorry. I was sorry not to have anything really beautiful that reminded me of such a particular moment of my life, the one in which I carried one of my greatest loves on my lap. So with the second pregnancy I thought I could give me a gift: a photo session with a professional. I started looking for my person, the one who seemed to me closest to me in sensitivity. And I found Livia.
I participated in a maternity session in which Livia made beautiful clothes available, chosen on the basis of my complexion, my physical type, my personality, which she was able to identify at a glance. My husband and little Giulia were also with me, who initially showed little inclination to be photographed, but who with Livia’s patience and sweetness was immediately involved and in turn made the protagonist of the set.
When Leonardo was born I gave myself another gift: the newborn session. The care, sweetness, slowness and delicacy are just some of the elements that characterized the morning on the set with my little boy of a few days. Leonardo was indulged and respected in his rhythms and times, wrapped in precious fabrics and cured down to the smallest details. I was afraid that Giulia would appear uncooperative and instead something magical happened: being photographed next to her little brother made her feel important, awakened in her a hidden sense of protection towards Leonardo and was collaborative from the beginning.
Livia’s shots are real works of art, a precious memory of moments that her eye has been able to capture thanks to a wise use of the lens. In particular, in black and white photos he manages to expose the emotions and experiences of his subjects.
Beauty, empathy and attention to detail both during the set and in post production are the key elements of his work.
An experience that I recommend to those looking for an excellent workmanship and with a serious and attentive professional
