Hi! My name is Amanda Capello, former high school math teacher, turned professional maternity and newborn photographer. I would describe my style as minimalist, elegant, monochromatic, editorial and timeless. Fun fact, my mom was a wedding photographer so my first job was her assistant, changing film, second shooting, assisting and more. This is how my love for photography began. I have built my business over the last decade and have been honored to be featured on the cover of both shutter up magazine, and shutter scene magazine. I have also been the featured photographer in many online magazines and have won awards including top local photographer in a local 85086 magazine, as well as top photographer from expertise. I love working with expecting moms and new moms and dads. It is the most important time in their lives and I love hearing their birth stories and pregnancy journeys. Having personally struggled with infertility, and having two beautiful children of my own, I feel even more passionate to capturing this special time for other families.
