Tianna Jarrett-Williams – Tianna Jarrett-Williams is a maternity and newborn photographer based in Birmingham, United Kingdom where she has a small studio near to the city centre. Her love for this speciality grew from her past career as a professional and registered nurse and midwife. Whilst photography began as a hobby after the birth of her first daughter, she quickly fell in love with the craft and soon became consumed by the desire to be creative. After navigating a few specialities, Tianna settled on the art of pregnancy, motherhood and newborn photography because these genres in coalescence with her passion for women becoming mothers and their journey through motherhood inspires her daily. Whilst the primary focus is on maternity and newborn photography, Tianna does enjoy creative and styled projects with a special interest in culture which often can be appreciated in her work. Tianna lives with her two young children Zara and Olivia; and long term partner Ashley, near Birmingham.

Kathryn Barredo – Kathryn is a photographer located in Central Alberta, near the city of Edmonton and has been specializing in newborn photography for 9 years. She started off with a little canon rebel and her living room as her studio space. Through the years she has dedicated a lot of time growing her knowledge of newborn posing, lighting, safety, soothing and editing techniques. Her number one priority is her family. She is married to her sweet 16 love and they have 4 children and 1 fur baby, who have had to watch her go through the ups and downs of running her own business. This is something that has been a learning curve, one which she has learned to navigate. It’s pushed her to make decisions in order to help support her family and things to cut out in order to stay balanced. But it’s also helped her put things into perspective. Her family priorities were put to the test, so she made spending time together a must. This is something that every mother and business owner struggles with. One thing her family felt was a good decision, was getting away from business entirely and go travelling. Her children have grown accustomed to exploring new places around the world and learning different ways of living. So whether it’s Thailand, or other Asian places, the Caribbean or someplace else they crave culture and tropical weather! This allows them to reconnect as a family and try and keep that balance between working and family life. In order to run her business, she’s become a HUGE coffee addict and will not start her day without having a freshly brewed coffee! She’s realized that coffee, editing and Netflix go hand in hand! When it comes to her business, If she’s not photographing beautiful newborns or maternity sessions you will find her teaching on her Youtube channel or in her private facebook groups. Kathryn’s always felt the desire to share her knowledge with others. Her youtube channel has helped hundreds, if not thousands of new or experienced photographers in one way or another. She’s found a lot of joy in these various avenues and has personally dedicated her entire photography career to newborns. She enjoys the challenge of every newborn session and every new or repeat family she sees. She looks forward to many more years of continuing to grow in the Newborn Photography field and watching others grow as well. Kathryn feels privileged to say that she gets to do what she loves, and she is eternally grateful.
